I'm looking for a workaround, the ad banners are really annoying with godaddy's free hosting.
Use a paid host and there will be no banners at all. You can get hosting for like $5 a month. I've used Bluehost and HostGator and they both have one-click installation of WordPress. You can use them or read some of the reviews at the site below to find a host that suits you.
