I am supposed to be taking control of a website. The domain is registered with godaddy.com and I would like to host website there as well. Is there a way for me to have it transferred through godaddy? How do I do this and what information do I need to provide to the person who currently has the website in order to make this happen? Thanks in advance!
So you are taking over that website? The easy way would be to just get the account from the other person. You would need the account name and password, and once your logged it you could just update/change all the contact information to match yours.
If you don't want to transfer the entire account, I would probably contact customer service or look at their FAQ to see if they have some option available to transfer the website from one account to another.
