This form of advertising is possibly the most mysterious and feared among those who have never used it.
There are so many stories on the net about how people lost money very fast, but still it’s something that has some kind of magical draw for people. How can the average IM marketer know if it’s something that’s good for them? Just how can a marketer find success with something so many others have found failure with? We want to talk about that – how you can succeed at this PPC advertising game.
Verify whether or not your advertisements are connecting to the right landing pages or not. Even if you have the highest click through rate in the entire system, you still won’t make a single sale if your ads are pointing to the wrong pages. It isn’t always a good option to point to the home page of your website, especially if that is not the one that encourages your visitors to buy from you. Test a few different ads with different pages of your website. You will need to make a note f the ads that make the most sales. If you find that one of your pages performs very well in generating sales and one of your ads generates a lot of clicks, you will see your sales explode if you combine the two. Keep an eye on other PPC ads in your niche. Your competitors can provide you with valuable information. Do you notice any ads that someone has been running for a long time? By watching this, you can figure out which of their compaigns are producing the best results. It can be worthwhile to use one of the online services or tools that gives you the ability to keep track of the PPC campaigns of anyone you want. You should use these. Who is doing well and who isn’t? Which campaigns have the highest rate of return? A simple method of making money with PPC is to find successful campaigns and emulate them. There is no question that you must do proper and thorough research for the keywords you want to use, as well as on your niche market. The only traffic you want are those who are searching for what you’re marketing and want it. If your research is lacking then you most likely will waste your money because your ads could be targeting the wrong searchers, or market. Advanced PPC marketers often show ads to related markets, but if you’re new it’s best to save this until later. So to say it again, be darn sure you get your research right before you ever begin, that way you chances of needlessly losing money are greatly diminished.
